When I first moved to LA we lived near this giant billboard on Sunset Blvd and I would wonder if I’d ever make a movie that would require that much real estate. Well, that day has come. At midnight tonight MULAN will be available for all to see on Disney+ but for right now, here is CC and me, strolling down Sunset like it was no thing to have her image a hundred feet high right behind us. Thanks @ninja_tuner for the sneaky shooting and Tui @tuicarolister for putting music to the clip for me. That’s CC singing because there is literally nothing that girl can’t do. So as CC and I walk off into the sunset, can I just say how much I have LOVED this journey with her and all our brilliant collaborators. And on behalf of our loyal, Brave, and true Mulan army, we hope you enjoy the movie we made for you
茜茜IG转发导演妮基卡罗：thanks so much for the ride ;) really enjoyed it @nikicaro @ninja_tuner
#repost • @nikicaro For those of us who worked so long and hard on MULAN, postponing the release was tough, but necessary, as we all do our best to fight the pandemic. For Mulan herself @yifei_cc this has meant total isolation, alone in quarantine. As we begin to cautiously lift restrictions, here she is on her first day out, masked and distanced, seeing the sun again... Thanks @ninja_tuner for the ride. #mulan #disney #yifei_cc #loyalbravetrue #warrior
As many of you know, I spent my summer holidays in the winter of New Zealand working on a film. I had to go back to start my final university school year and quite literally decided on the plane to London that I wanted to turn in my work early and come back to work. So come back I did, and hours after I landed in Auckland I was taken on a road trip with my mother Mandy Walker, Niki Caro, Bina Daigeler and her husband Gonzalo, and Yifei Liu. We took a ferry to Waiheke Island and hung out before going back to work on Monday. Side not, unlike my other videos I've made of my travels this was all taken in one day!
